Subsea Flex Joint 3D Modeling

The work was carried out on Flex Joints across the Gulf of Mexico (GoM) on nearly 60 Flex Joints in water depths varying from 70ft to 700ft.

Data Capture

The Inspection can be carried out using the Dimensional Eye VLS system or any Subsea HD camera and a Green Line Subsea Laser/ LED lights. The VLS or camera are interfaced with the Seanic Ocean Systems Flex Joint Inspection Tool and deployed from a Vessel based or Platform based ROV.

Project Scope

The purpose of the Flex Joint Inspection is to provide a 3D model of in service flex joints to measure anomalies and compare results to previous inspections. We are able to provide high Mesh density surface definition of in service flex joints to help our clients make informed Integrity Management Decisions.

• Total Data Collection Time (Per Flex Joint after adequate Cleaning): 10 minutes

• Accuracy Achieved: Sub milimeter
