Jumper Hub Alignment Study

The work was carried out in approximately 6000ft water depth with an ROV using a SubC Imaging HD ROV Camera.

Data Capture

The client approached us asking for measurements of the hubs while they were offshore conducting a routine inspection. The ROV crew and inspection team were able to capture the required data without Dimensional Eye technicians onsite and at no additional cost to the inspection campaign (only video of the asset was required, this was being recorded during the inspection already). We requested that the ROV/Inspectors gathered video in a slightly different way (that allows photogrammetry to work well) and was then sent to the office for processing once the job was complete.

Project Scope

The purpose of the Jumper Hub Alignment job was to confirm the angle of the hubs and whether the jumper was properly aligned with the hubs.

• Total Data Collection Time per Jumper: 10 minutes

• Accuracy Achieved: +/- 0.5°
